A little bit about me…

I am so happy you are here. I am not the best at talking about myself so to save us both some trouble, click the links below for some fun facts about me.

I believe that every individual has unique goals, challenges, and preferences. As a UX Designer, it’s my mission to create digital solutions that prioritize the needs of each user. I see design as a powerful tool for simplifying complexity and enhancing the lives of individuals.

I see problems like a puzzle and with research, active listening, and empathy you can always find the right piece 🧩. My work in insurance and account management has allowed me the opportunity to speak with 1000’s of individuals from different backgrounds and roles. I believe that every person has a unique story and perspective and by putting people at the center of the design process, we can make the digital world a more user-centric and empathetic place.

    user experience consultancy
    • I obtained the BCS Foundation Certificate in User Experience in September of 2023.
    • In collaboration with PeakXD and their UX Accelerator program, I successfully completed an end-to-end client project focused on enhancing engagement and communication through the client’s website.
  • ZENITH INSURANCE

    Account Manager and Senior Claims Examiner
    • I created and led an internal committee focused on driving performance enhancements and system improvements. Collaborating closely with my team, we undertook the task of modernizing and streamlining outdated or inefficient processes, resulting in the development of new workflows and wireframes.
    • I personally managed accounts with more than 300 businesses, gaining insights into their unique needs and proactively devising solutions that catered to both stakeholders and employees. I conducted in-depth interviews with over 600 individuals to thoroughly understand their backgrounds and requirements. This experience honed my communication skills, allowing me to effectively engage with each person.
  • PSYCHOLOGY

    • I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology, graduating with magna cum laude honors. My undergraduate journey ignited a profound passion for research, leading me to become a research assistant. In collaboration with my professor, we presented our research findings at the 2015 Rocky Mountain Psychological Association professional conference.
